Changes Afoot

I have the displeasure of letting friends and colleagues know that as of now, I’ll no longer be writing for ReadWriteWeb and the ReadWriteEnterprise blog.

Normally I wouldn’t be interested in making an “announcement” about it. But I think it’s a necessary courtesy for companies and PR people who’ve worked with me to know, so precious time won’t be wasted. For those who have pitches or have done briefings with me concerning upcoming news, please either contact the ReadWriteWeb team directly or email me at my personal address if you’d prefer an introduction.

My understanding is that ReadWriteEnterprise will be on hiatus temporarily, but I trust that they will find someone who can turn it into a great success. I still have a huge amount of respect for the site and everyone involved with it, and needless to say it will still be in my RSS reader.

As for me, I’ll be continuing to write freelance and do consulting. I also will now have more time to pursue ideas which had been waiting in the wings as I tried to stay caught up with the river of news. I’m definitely open to blogging and writing for others, either freelance or on a part time basis. This site will have a resume and clippings up soon, but feel free to contact me directly for both in the mean time.
